Here’s to the Future
Here’s to the Future is a group exhibit featuring artwork that calls to our current condition; environmentally and politically. Contemporary painting, drawing, photography, video, wood and kinetic sculpture are included in this exhibit. The 13 artists are Julie Blackmon, Susanna Bluhm, Buddy Bunting, Linda Davidson, Justin Gibbens, Cable Griffith, Ben Hirshkoff, Graciela Iturbide, Mary Iverson, Michael Kluckner, Serrah Russell, Samantha Scherer, and Matt Sellars.
In keeping with the theme and thoughts of future and past generations we are showing mid to late 20th century photographs of children in the back area of the gallery. Work is included by Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Keith Carter, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, Andrea Modica, Paul Strand, and Marion Post Wolcott.
