In this presentation Andrea Modica discusses 30 years of work, covering photographs from her long-term projects and books including Treadwell, Barbara, Minor League, Fountain, Human Being and L’amico del cuore (translated Best Friends).  Also discussed will be current work that so far defies categorization!  Speaking in part about why she still uses an 8×10″ camera in the digital age, and why she prints in platinum. Also addressed will be how the meaning of the photograph is deeply informed by these choices.
